About

Hello! My Name is Dr. Erika Spampinato, PT, DPT - Founder of True North Physical Therapy

Welcome! I’m so excited you’re here.

Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of guiding people on their journeys toward strength, healing, and confidence. My experience spans from outpatient care to home therapy, and I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible individuals, from energetic 7-year-olds to vibrant 105-year-olds, each one teaching me something new about resilience.

My passion for physical therapy was ignited by my background in sports and exercise science. I graduated from Winona State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Movement Science and a minor in Nutrition. Along the way, I earned my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification and worked as a personal trainer during grad school. In 2018, I completed my clinical doctorate in physical therapy at the College of St. Scholastica and became licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.

At True North Physical Therapy, my mission is simple: to empower you to find your true north, your inner strength. I know how difficult it can be to prioritize your health when life is full of demands. That’s why I started this practice—to give you quick, direct access to care, without the need for a doctor’s referral. I focus on creating personalized treatment plans that work for your unique goals, free from insurance constraints. This allows me to offer a variety of effective, cash-based services designed to get you results with dedication and consistency.

Outside of my work, I cherish moments spent with my husband, Mike, our dogs, Panda and Ranger, and our cat, Frida. Whether I’m weightlifting, exploring the outdoors, or cooking up something delicious, I’m always seeking balance and joy in life.

I can’t wait to connect with you! If you’re ready to start your journey back to strength and confidence, I invite you to visit our services page and schedule your FREE 15-minute consultation. Let’s make your true north a reality.
